Steven Gilfedder

Steven Gilfedder is self taught with some guidance from The Glasgow School of Art over the past 20 years. He was born in Glasgow’s Duke Street Hospital in 1966.


He first experienced working with clay and casting techniques while carving firebrick to form domes and arches during his apprenticeship as a Refractory Bricklayer in furnaces around Scotland.
